Our days run fast and whimsical at Pixee’s Paws Pet Palace. We have long days of booking reservations, tending to staff payroll needs, developing programs for our guests, and even opening a dog rescue!
We could not do any of these things if we didn’t have a team of dedicated dog folks who make our doggie daycare and boarding the success we dreamed of when we opened five years ago. Whether Mitch is booking appointments, onboarding new clients, or problem-solving schedule issues he does so with kindness and care. Mitch has also taken on our private gourmet meals Pixee’s offers to our guests. Besides being an employee Mitch has become a dear friend who isn’t afraid to speak his mind and offer ideas that help make our client’s experiences better.
I will continue sharing each employee’s strengths and stories as I learn to “blog” daily for our friends.
Pixee’s Paws Pet Palace is an exception to the rule. The rule has always been to kennel, crate dogs in their individual runs all day for dog boarding only being let out if pet parents pay for it. Our exception is to stay overnight with our boarding guests. A puppy slumber party. Our team members watch movies, lounge around, take pics of the guests and send them to pet parents nightly. Not only are the guests happy they are also safe. If a dog is having any issues someone is there to tend to them immediately instead of the dog being alone until 7am.
